Client insight is Manit’s guiding light
A satisfied client should be the bottom-line for any business. That’s been the guiding principal and the key to success for Manit Narang, ASSA ABLOY’s Hospitality Vice president business for development in the Middle East, Africa and India.
“I cover a large geographical area, so I get the opportunity to meet many different types of clients, all with different needs and that gives me valuable insights. With that information and the earned trust of the customer, I’m able to work out suitable strategy for each area and I find this makes my job very interesting,” Narang says.
Narang’s specific responsibilities include managing product line business with partner channels in various countries and he also provides day-to-day support to partner channels and local Key accounts. In addition, Narang handles major key accounts within Hospitality locally while also Managing and supporting Sales Managers and overall responsibility of P&L in the region.
“Meeting end users or decision makers of different nationalities is very exciting as it gives an insight into their needs and which I feel is very important to us, as a satisfied client is the bottom-line of any business,” he says.
“When I’m visiting a major key account holder, it’s my job to assess the business and to explore the opportunities for new business by listening to their issues in order to have a better insight on how to best support them.”
