Adams Rite, part of ASSA ABLOY Security Solutions, a division of ASSA ABLOY UK, has updated its ULTRALINE Premium Electric Strike offering to cover a wide range of door set types.
Adams Rite has introduced five new electric strikes to its 7400 range, designed to simplify and reduce installation time, whilst maintaining quality and security for the end-user.
The 7410 and 7411 electric strikes offer a solution for timber door security, featuring the longest faceplate of the five new products, which ensures fixing positions are kept away from the strike cut out. These latest electric strikes from Adams Rite feature all the benefits and security functions of the 7400 range, and can be retrofitted without additional work for the 7110 and 7111, respectively.
Also new from Adams Rite are the 7430 and 7431 electric strikes, which retrofit the 7130 and 7131 models. The large faceplate conceals the strike opening when converting from an MS deadbolt to deadlatch. Suitable for use in commercial and public sector applications, the 7430 and 7431 monitored electric strikes can significantly reduce installation time, helping fabricators and installers to work within project deadlines.
Finally, an ideal retrofit for the 7140, the new 7440 electric strike has been introduced for use on steel doors. The faceplate features square corners, ensuring ease of installation into steel doors.
The newest additions to the 7400 range all feature a double monitoring option of both the latch and solenoid, field selectable fail safe or fail secure on the strike body and are tested to 500,000 cycles.
All strikes in the range will open electronically with a sideload pressure of 15kg and the 7410, 7411 and 7440 can also help building owners meet with the requirements of Approved Document M, thanks to their reduced opening force.
Andy Stolworthy, Product Manager for Adams Rite, said:
“The extension of the 7400 range enables us to offer an electric strike for every project specification. In evolving the range we’ve responded to market demand and considered the installation challenges faced by our customers, when working with a variety of door materials.
“These solutions have always been available from Adams Rite, however, now they have been developed in the 7400 range. We hope the new products will assist in reducing installation time without compromising on the quality and security features of the product, enabling our customers to deliver fit for purpose products for a variety of applications.”
