ASSA ABLOY Access Control has upgraded Aperio™’s innovative wireless hub technology to facilitate a link from one to eight locking devices at any one time, minimising installation requirements for a more cost effective security solution.
Until recently, each Aperio™ lock worked by communicating with a wireless hub, installed nearby the door, on a one-to-one basis.
With the recent upgrades, the Aperio™ hubs can link up to eight locks (one-to-eight loops) to an existing access control solution, creating a more convenient, and greater low cost extension to security systems in place.
Says Hitesh Mistry of ASSA ABLOY Access Control: “The fact that Aperio™ hubs can now communicate with eight Aperio™ cylinders or escutcheons is great news for end users, as the complete solution is even simpler to install, saving significant costs and at the same time enabling greater flexibility to upgrade the controllability and security level of any premises.”
The upgraded hubs follow significant evolving connectivity and developments in RFID technology, which means Aperio™ has the capability to connect with almost any online access control system in the marketplace.
Aperio™ has been designed to work with a wide range of lockcases and cylinders. To find our more, please visit www.assaabloy.co.uk/accesscontrol.
