Successful first outing at CIH for ASSA ABLOY

ASSA ABLOY, the global leader in door opening solutions, had a successful exhibition at this year’s CIH Show.

The show, aimed at providing solutions for social housing, was held from 21st to 23rd June at the Harrogate International Centre and attracted high numbers of visitors from across the industry.

ASSA ABLOY showcased products from across its portfolio, including the latest breakthrough hardware product – the Easy+Clean™ facility furniture, as well as the StrongBOLT mortice lock, and Easy Access nightlatch from UNION.

In addition, electro-mechanical products also proved popular with the show’s visitors, with the Smartair locking technology from ASSA, Yale Keyfree digital door lock and electric lock and strikes from Trimec all generating interest. Whilst the ASSA ABLOY door closers were a hit with specifiers and social housing landlords looking to meet with guidelines under the Equality Act.

Commenting on the show’s success, Tina Hughan, Head of Marketing for ASSA ABLOY, said:

“This was the first time that ASSA ABLOY has exhibited at the CIH and we were very impressed with the positive response to our products. We have been steadily gaining more interest from the social housing sector across all our brands, thanks to our products’ functionality and ability to meet with a range of standards and legislative requirements.

“In addition, products from our Adams Rite portfolio were also on display at Total Glass’s stand, where they were used to demonstrate a PAS24 doorset.

“The three days have been a great success for us both in terms of new contacts and sales enquiries, we look forward to building on these relationships in the future.”
