Unlock The Competition With Aperio At IFSEC

Visitors to ASSA ABLOY’s stand at this year’s IFSEC can put their installation skills to the test and be in with a chance of winning an iPad, by entering an exclusive Aperio competition. The fastest person to change a traditional mechanical cylinder to an Aperio cylinder on Stand C50 in Hall 4 during the 4-day show will win an iPad.

Aperio uses smart technology to enable the wireless integration of mechanical locks into existing access control systems with minimal door modification, allowing easy and cost effective expansion of existing locking systems within refurbished or remodeled public and commercial buildings.

This provides end-users in a variety of markets with a simple and intelligent way of upgrading the controllability and security level of their premises. Plus, Wiegand connectivity has recently been added to the Aperio offering, allowing Aperio to connect with almost all access control systems in the marketplace.

Matt Thomas, Managing Director of ASSA ABLOY Access Control, said: “We thought this competition would be good fun with a great prize, plus it gives visitors the opportunity to experience first-hand just how easy Aperio products are to install.

“It’s perfectly feasible to complete the changeover in around five minutes, so for simply taking a few minutes out of their day visitors could stand to win a new iPad.”

The full Aperio product range will be on display and suits most systems and various communication protocols, offering different cylinder and escutcheon types.

ASSA ABLOY will be conducting a seminar at IFSEC, exploring how to add mechanically operated doors to existing online access control systems, using the Aperio technology.  This is based on a successful case study.  Taking place on Tuesday 17th May at 10:30 – 11:00am in Theatre one, visitors are encouraged to register their attendance early to avoid disappointment.

Aperio has been designed to work with a wide range of lockcases and cylinders. To find out more, visit the ASSA ABLOY Stand (C50) in Hall 4
