ASSA ABLOY Security Solutions will be showcasing a host of door opening solutions for social housing at this year’s CIH Show.
Following last year’s successful show debut, ASSA ABLOY Security Solutions will be returning to the exhibition held at its new venue in Manchester Central from 12th to 14th June, sharing a stand with its sister company, Yale.
Visitors to the ASSA ABLOY stand, F32, will be able to view a range of products that offer a total specification solution for social housing projects, including the latest mechanical locking and masterkey systems from UNION, access control technology from ASSA and the latest product launch from Adams Rite, as well as electric locks from Trimec and ASSA ABLOY branded door closers.
The exhibition will see the introduction of Adams Rite’s latest multipoint lock offering, which is the first of its kind to be designed to help social landlords and system houses meet with the forthcoming BS EN 1627 legislation.
Tina Hughan, Head of Marketing for ASSA ABLOY UK, said:
“The products available from the Security Solutions division really serve to demonstrate our breadth of product, and ability to provide a total specification solution for social housing developments and refurbishment. Our work with standards and testing agencies ensure we are always able to provide solutions that meet with the latest legislation and social housing targets.
“CIH is an ideal opportunity for us to demonstrate how our new and innovative products can provide a complete solution for social housing landlords, ranging from cost effective refurbishments to full-scale access control systems.”
Visitors will also be able to view the latest products from UNION, including its keyULTRA™ masterkey system, Aptus2 mortice lock and StrongBOLT™ high strength mortice lock, as well as its Easy Access nightlatch ideal for elderly residents and its breakthrough hardware product – the Easy+Clean™ Facility Furniture range. Specifically designed for use on both slide and hinge toilet and bathroom doors, where ease of operation is desired. Finished with a TouchClean® anti-bacterial coating this helps to improve infection control by reducing the risk of bacteria being transmitted from the surface of the ironmongery.
The stand will also feature ASSA’s Smartair access control system, Trimec’s ES8000 V-lock and a range of ASSA ABLOY branded door closers. In addition, innovative solutions from home security specialist Yale will be on display, along with Yale’s latest breakthrough hardware product – the cleverly designed new Doormaster™ replacement multipoint lock range. The security hardware allows social housing landlords to swiftly replace failing and broken multipoint locks, without the cost and hassle of replacing the entire entrance door.
Yale will also be showcasing its Keyfree digital door locking range, including a new retrofittable solution. In addition, a high security range of anti-snap cylinders, specifically designed to combat the rising concerns regarding cylinder manipulation attack will also be on display, providing one of the very few solutions to meet the stringent Sold Secure SS312 Diamond standard” created by the Master Locksmiths Association.
