Yale has launched a new range of PVCu and composite door furniture, combining security solutions, superior performance, and striking aesthetics.
The new high performance suite from the world’s favourite lock company has been designed to the very highest standards and is ideal for merchants and retailers looking to offer a complete front door hardware solution.
The Platinum maximum security door handle has been developed to meet TS007 and PAS 24 standards, protecting against all known attack methods for ultimate peace of mind. As the nights draw in and security is on people’s minds, this handle gives consumers a new level of confidence in the hardware on their door.
The Platinum series includes maximum security and standard security door handles, and 12inch letterplates for a fully suited look. It also employs the use of marine grade stainless steel, offering unrivalled corrosion resistance and striking aesthetics.
The Platinum series letterplate is available with 20/40 and 40/80 adjustable sleeves to cover all door thicknesses. This letterplate has s a durable spring loaded flap tested to 120,000 operations and comes with an external weather seal. When used in conjunction with a Yale letterplate restrictor the security level can be increased further to protect against key fishing and lock manipulation.
The Yale letterplate restrictor is an innovative device which can be surface mounted for use in conjunction with any letterplate, and is adjustable to allow full closure, part restriction or full opening. This means the letterplate can be locked in full closure position at night, protecting against fishing and visibility of occupancy to unwanted callers.
Hazel Whittingham, Product Manager at Yale, said: “Cylinder manipulation and letterbox fishing have undoubtedly become top concerns amongst homeowners, and we have been working behind the scenes to ensure we created superior quality solutions, carrying independent quality and performance accreditations.
“We are also very aware of the current difficult climate, and have designed the range so that the furniture can be easily marketed as a retrofit solution. And with the Platinum range being Yale branded, already well-known as a consumer home security specialist, merchants and retailers can offer peace of mind, alongside style and outstanding performance.”
Yale has also launched a Superior series of handles, which are available with powder coated and anodised finishes, and have the same suited look of the Platinum range. Available in standard security only, these can be used in conjunction with a maximum security cylinder to offer customers a good level of security. As with the Platinum series, each handle set is supplied with spring cassettes, spindles and screws for use on both PVCu and composite doors.
