UK Specification, a division of ASSA ABLOY UK, has successfully used EcoBuild 2015 to cement its position as the total provider of design led architectural ironmongery and doorset specifications.
On stand N3074 at EcoBuild 2015, UK Specification showcased its journey to offering bespoke consultancy services and design led specification capabilities, and also took part in a unique seminar at the BIM Theatre in partnership with NBS, part of RIBA Enterprises on BIM for manufacturers.
UK Specification presented its principles in understanding sustainability whilst using its own journey experience to demystify the issues in ground breaking influences such as BIM and NBS specification writing tools for the benefit of architects, property development companies, design led main contractors and major end users.
Says David Wigglesworth, Managing Director of UK Specification: “What was clear at EcoBuild was the buzz around the exhibition, with the new opportunities in sustainable growth and development. For UK Specification, we were able to bask in its essence and showcase how to take advantage of the new found optimism whilst still adhere to influencing factors such as BIM, ready for next year’s Government mandate.
“The exhibition proved hugely successful in our ability to generate strong brand awareness as a new proposition to the specification market. Visitors to the stand and guests to the seminar could instantly see the strategic journey we have taken to bring our extensive expertise from being part of ASSA ABLOY, as the global leader in door opening solutions, to provide added value, knowledge together with the flexibility to engage with them on a consultative basis to ensure all architectural ironmongery and doorset requirements could be achieved from one manufacturer.”
