UK Specification, a division of ASSA ABLOY UK, is ready for EcoBuild with confirmation of a seminar slot in partnership with NBS, part of RIBA Enterprises and also a position on the much-anticipated Genius Bar, to highlight the significance of BIM modelling and sustainable design.
On stand N3074 at EcoBuild, UK Specification is primed to showcase its journey to offering bespoke consultancy services and design led specification capabilities, all specified created to accommodate sustainable building design.
On Wednesday 4th March 2015 at 1pm as part of a series of seminars on BIM produced by NBS, UK Specification will form part of a panel discussion on BIM for manufacturers.
Says Ian Chapman, Director of National BIM Library at NBS: “UK Specification part of ASSA ABLOY UK is leading the way from a manufacturers’ perspective to understanding the significance of BIM and putting the principles into practice in its new business proposition. The move is indeed bold from the global leader in door opening solutions but one we fully support and thrilled to partner with for our BIM Seminars at the home of sustainable development, at EcoBuild.”
UK Specification, will be displaying principles in understanding sustainability whilst using its own journey experience to demystify the issues in ground breaking influences such as BIM and NBS specification writing tools for the benefit of architects, property development companies, design led main contractors and major end users.
UK Specification has already held a successful webinar in conjunction with NBS and David Milner Architects, investigating the key industry drivers that organisations need to be aware to position themselves ready for 2016.
Says David Wigglesworth, Managing Director of UK Specification: “The launch of the UK Specification business will really come to life at EcoBuild. And on the back of a successful webinar, we would encourage as many to attend the BIM panel discussion to demonstrate its true significance for us all, especially in the countdown to 2016.
“EcoBuild is the show which we have been really looking forward, to once again partner with NBS and engage with architects. Here, we can show how we represent the global leader in door opening solutions, ASSA ABLOY, with the capability, knowledge and expertise to accommodate any building design and become a total provider of the highest quality architectural ironmongery and innovative doorsets, with a true dedication to delivering on service.”
EcoBuild is taking place from 3rd to 5th March 2015, at Excel London. The BIM seminar programme is now available to view at http://www.ecobuild.co.uk/Content/BIM-Seminars
